Welcome to Tabby Road Studios!
We guarantee you’ll have a great time being a singer in a real
studio – a Hen Party you’ll all remember!!
Venue:
Tabby Road Studios is heated/air conditioned and self-contained
within the grounds of Halfway Farm Cottage.
On arrival:
You will be greeted with a Bucks Fizz Reception, during which
time your backing tracks will be loaded onto our computerised
recording system. You and your guests will then rehearse the
songs you have chosen whilst getting comfortable within the
recording environment.
Photo shoot:
If you’ve chosen the ‘Tabbytastic Package’, photos will be taken
to process onto the CD labels.
…and rolling:
Once you are all warmed up we will begin to record. You’ll sing
the first song and then come into the control room for playback.
You can sing as many ‘takes’ as you wish until you are happy
with the result.
Refreshments:
A short break for drinks and nibbles, and then on with the next
song…
Backing Tracks:
You may record three songs of you choice from our extensive
TABBYTRACKS LIBRARY – these will be sent to you before your
session, together with lyric sheets, upon receipt of the payment
balance (see ‘Payment Details’ below) so that you may rehearse
the tracks.
Mixing on CD:
The last half hour is where our recording engineer completes the
technical side of mixing and compiling your songs onto a
personalised CD for you and your guests.
Standard Tabby Package:
• £130 for up to 5 people
• £10 per head for each extra guest – up to 10 people max.
• Bucks Fizz and nibbles
• A CD of your recording for you and each of your guests
Tabbytastic Package:
• £160 for up to 5 people
• £15 per head for each extra guest – up to 10 people max.
• Bucks Fizz and refreshments (party food)
• Photo shoot
• A special boxed photo CD of your recording for you and each of
your guests
Payment Details:
£50 deposit, balance payable 28 days before the date of the
session.
Health, Safety & Hygiene:
Tabby Road Studio is compliant with the Health & Safety at Work
Act 1974. The Tabby Road Studios Health, Safety & Hygiene
Technical Manual is situated in the Office.
Disabled access:
Access to the studio from the car park is reasonably level.
There is a ramp leading to the Cottage where the toilets are
situated.
